I am English and have been living in Mexico for 7 years and have a 4 year old son. I started the business two years ago cooking indian food from home, takeout and catering. In Dec 2014 an opportunity came up to open a small restaurant. I jumped at the chance even though I had no start up capitol or support. This was and is my sole source of income. I have very few tables and a makeshift kitchen. The response from my community and tourists during the high season has been amazing and I truly believe, that not having very little business experience that I need a mentor and investment to take our small business to the next level. There is very little competition in my area...or in the whole of Mexico! and I think its time to bring Indian food to the Mexican masses and of course make it available to the many Americans, English and Canadians that spend at least 6 months of the year here. The reviews for my restaurant on tripadvisor are very promising.
