Description:
We are developing a feature film based on a best-selling book series that, to date has sold over 35 million. The exclusive option grants all motion picture, television, gaming and allied rights throughout the world. The purpose of the development funding is create the motion picture funding package and re-package the various gaming components for both exclusive and non-exclusive licenses. With a target audience that extends beyond the 8-15 year old demographic, this investment has the potential to generate an ROI within the first six months.
First introduced in 1984 the series (published by a division of Random House) is now published in 25 different languages and has an estimated fan base of over 100 million readers. It is an active series; the most recent title in the series released earlier this year.
The initial capital raise of $750,000 USD will allow us the finances necessary to develop the motion picture funding and distribution package (that includes script, budgets, character development) as well as a repackaging of the gaming rights for MMO, social gaming, interactive download and non-electronic concepts. The $750,000 capital infusion will control an equity stake in all development and licensing pursuits. Development financing is a short term investment and is recouped upon execution of film financing, however, the gaming licenses will provide a more immediate return on capital as well as long term benefit.
